Richard graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2002. He spent seven years working in the NHS, specialising in adult and paediatric musculoskeletal injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation. During this time, he developed extensive experience managing complex post-surgical cases and supporting patients through every stage of recovery, injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

Before leaving the NHS, Richard led a team of physiotherapists in a hospital-based rehabilitation gym and worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner, where he triaged and managed serious spinal pathologies in collaboration with orthopaedic and neurosurgical specialists.
Since moving into the private sector in 2009, Richard has focused exclusively on using his extensive knowledge of manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation to treat a wide range of sports, postural, and post-operative conditions. His patient-centred approach emphasises restoring movement, building strength, and preventing future injury through tailored treatment plans and education.
Outside of work, Richard is an enthusiastic runner and cyclist, and at weekends can often be found kitesurfing along the south coast.
