Isokinetic Testing

Muscle performance testing is an ideal way to gauge your progress following injury or surgery and can help in setting targets and recovery goals.

We use the Kin-Com isokinetic testing system to accurately measure muscle strength and performance. The test evaluates how your muscles perform during both pushing and resisting movements (known as concentric and eccentric contractions).

Your results are analysed in detail, assessing key metrics such as overall power, power-to-weight ratio, and total workload.

This information helps us set meaningful recovery goals, tailor your rehabilitation plan, and determine when you’re ready to return safely to sport or full activity.

Isokinetic testing gives you and your clinician confidence that your recovery is on track — and that your strength meets the demands of your sport or lifestyle..
