Tara qualified with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in 2004, having previously completed an honours degree in Human Biology from Loughborough University in 1999. She has worked within the busy NHS setting for 10 years where she worked within the musculoskeletal out patient setting, providing hydrotherapy (lead clinician), acupuncture, triage clinic, Clinical pilates classes, and rehabilitation programmes for both acute and chronic injuries.
Having medalled twice at a national level in lightweight rowing and with a strong swimming and running background, Tara has a keen interest in sporting injuries. She has worked with elite rowers, swimmers, rugby players and runners, returning them to sporting fitness. Tara is qualified in acupuncture, sports massage (ITEC level 4) and is trained in APPI pilates.
Tara has worked solely in the private sector since 2014, but has provided private practice physiotherapy services since 2007. When she is not working Tara can be found chasing glory with the Elmbridge Phoenix Masters swimming club or pounding along the Thames river paths.
